LONG SUMMIT

Terms of Use

Last updated 6 October 2026

These terms apply when you use Long Summit. They sit alongside Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which covers your licence to the app. These terms add what is specific to our service.

What it is

Long Summit helps you record your own figures and see where they could go. It isn’t financial, tax, investment or legal advice. Forecasts are arithmetic on the numbers you supply, with suggestions from AI, and they can be wrong. The tax-year export is a convenience, not a tax return. Check anything important before you act on it.

Plans and payment

Long Summit is paid for. The plans are $24.99 a year (first month free), $4.99 a month, $59.99 once. Prices are in US dollars. In your country they may be different. The App Store shows your price before you pay.

You can look around the whole app with sample data before you pay, and without an account. A plan is what lets you keep your own numbers.

Apple takes the payment, through the App Store account on your device. We never see your card. Your plan is confirmed to us by a receipt Apple signs.

The monthly and yearly plans renew by themselves until you cancel. Apple charges the renewal within the 24 hours before each period ends. To stop it, cancel at least 24 hours before that, in Settings on your iPhone → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling leaves the plan running until the period you have paid for is over.

The free month on the yearly plan is Apple’s introductory offer. Apple decides who is eligible, and it is offered once per Apple Account. Cancel before it ends and you are not charged. If you subscribe while a free period is running, Apple may end the rest of it.

Lifetime is one payment, not a subscription. It does not renew, and there is nothing to cancel.

Prices can change. For a renewing plan, Apple tells you before a new price takes effect and asks you to agree where the law requires it. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

Refunds are Apple’s to give, not ours, because Apple is the seller. Ask through Apple’s "Report a Problem" page, or your purchase history in Settings. Your rights under the law of the country you live in still stand.

If a plan ends, your numbers are not deleted. You can take a plan again, or delete your account.

Your account

You sign in with Apple, and an account is for one person. You are responsible for what you enter and for keeping your phone secure.

Your content

What you enter stays yours. You let us store it, sync it, and send it to our AI provider when you use an AI feature — only to run the app for you.

AI features

They are optional and can be wrong. They come with a monthly allowance, which we may change.

Fair use

Don’t misuse the service — for example by trying to reach other people’s data, overloading or attacking our servers, or using the app to break the law.

Changes to the service

The app is provided as it is, and we may change or remove features. If we ever close the service, we will tell you in advance and give you a way to export your data.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect losses, or for decisions you make based on the app. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away the protections of the country you live in.

Changes to these terms

The date at the top changes. If a change matters, we will say so in the app first.
